According to the announcement tonight at the midweek meeting, there is going to be a new "product" called JW Stream Studio, that will be used to broadcast the Circuit Assembly and meeting with CO and pioneers. WTF?

IIRC Russell stated that Watchtower readers in all Christian churches were God's people, they need not leave their churches. He also stated that there should not be an organized Watchtower religion (if any organized religion at all). Spontaneously formed self-governing groups of Watchtower readers would be the limit.

JW Stream–Studio: We are pleased to inform you that, where possible, the 2021 circuit assembly with the circuit overseer (CA-co) program and the 2021 special meeting with regular pioneers, special pioneers, and field missionaries program will be broadcast via a product called JW Stream–Studio. This product will allow attendees to watch a live stream of their circuit's programs from their homes. If this provision will be used in your circuit, the circuit overseer will provide further information to the elders.

This will save them millions of dollars. Sell assembly halls and keep only a few. Then rotate the congregations to use it or have their assembly at home or at their local kingdom hall. This is the future.

When it first started, years ago, this tv-evangelisim made me cringe. It was another facet for me leaving. They just looked no different to the tv evangelism you saw by other Christian groups 🤮🤮🤮
