Android Boss Knocks Siri

Populate seem to think that Apple's new sound-activated personal supporter, Siri, is jolly air-cooled. But not Andy Rubin, the Senior Frailty President of Google's Mobile division.

"I don't believe your phone should be an assistant," Rubin said Wednesday. "Your phone is a tool for communicating. You shouldn't be communication with the telephone set; you should be communicating with mortal on the other sidelong of the sound."

That's an interesting thought, considering Google is almost to establish Android 4.0, dubbed "Ice Cream Sandwich," which has many new features and improvements–including a much-improved voice stimulation engine.

To Rubin's credit, he's non totally hating on Siri–he's just non sure that people want to talk to their phones.
